Angelo Geiseler and Walter Schuber's spacious corner shop isn't just another Salumeria to pick up Italian food. It is a little restaurant and a shopping paradise for friends of excellent Italian wines. Try any wine by the glass and just pay a little bit on top of the shop price. Or survey the large selection of Italian hams; there is more to discover than Parma! Ever thought of truly aged vinegar, which has been ripening for more than 70 or 80 years? You'll find it here. Of course, Angelo and Walter with their team have a wonderful selection of antipasti, fresh from the kitchen and just the right thing for an in-between snack. Via Lodovico offers a delivery service for parties and dinners at home. If you qualify as a regular customer, they will even take your shopping list by phone and deliver when you can't find the time to shop.

Kaiserin Augusta Allee 89, 10589 Berlin - Charlottenburg | U7 Mierendorffplatz |
People drive here for their daily bread which is saying something. The pastries are masterful - even the humble Rosinenbrötchen (raisin bun) is elevated to new heights. There's also an Italian deli offering lunch plates for under DM10 - bet they're wicked too.
