One of Berlin's finest establishments. Entering the hotel itself is an experience, complete with waterfall and small galaxy of lights overhead. The lobby is grand with art works adorning the walls. The rooms are immaculate and inviting with 30 non-smoking rooms on the fourth floor. The hotel is situated on the banks of the Landwehr Canal (with a highly trafficked street in between), and only a minute's walk from Berlin's central Tiergarten park. Just across the canal is the famous Bauhaus Museum, and a 20min. stroll down the canal to spectacular Potsdamer Platz introduces you to a selection of some of Berlin's most unique architecture. Or take a tour down the waterway on the MS Esplanade. And only a few steps away is the "legendary" Harry's New York Bar with nightly jazz and cocktails galore.

This 1990's 5-star hotel lies just down the street from the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag , at the heart of one of Europe's most spectacular urban design events in recent history, the new commercial district developed by Daimler-Chrysler and Sony on Potsdamer Platz . The Hyatt is part of the Daimler-Chrysler complex designed by a team of world famous architects, lead by Renzo Piano, and including Arata Isozaki, José Rafael Moneo, and Richard Rogers. The interior is extremely slick with tastefully monochrome wood decor and white marble floor and minimal art around the lobby and on the walls. The rooms are equally minimalist, monochrome and fairly spacious. Highlights include internet access/TV, the Olympus fitness centre on the roof with pool and views across the city as you swim. The conference rooms are less impressive. Hotel features a bar, Vox Restaurant with Sushi Bar, bistro, parking, meeting and conference rooms. Disabled facilities (2 rooms), Solarium. Safe.
