Once Berlin's most fashionable shopping boulevard, Friedrichstraße is tooling up to win back the title from the somewhat faded charm of the Kurfürstendamm. You can't go past this store for a funky but functional hand made bags and knapsacks. Designers Sylvia Müller and Anke Runge offer traditional quality and workmanship in a range of up-to-the-minute colours and designs. Named after the Queen of the Amazons in Greek ledgend, this is the hand bag store for chics who mean business.

Tagebau represents the coming together of six internationall renowned designers in the fields of jewelery, fashion, interior objects and furniture. The result is a warehouse size space full of aesthic originality: Gizella Koppany produces striking outfits of theatrical grandeur; Eva Sorensen creates a range of jewelry made of semi-precious stones, bone and pleated wire; and Karsten Fischer offers more formal outfits in a range of exclusive fabrics.
