A walk down Gleimstrasse and you can´t miss the bright orange facade of Cafe Amsterdam. Stop by in the morning for the fantastic breakfast buffet, or come later when there´s nightly drink specials such as Tequila Tuesdays, when shots are just € 2, or € 4 Caipirinhas on Thursdays. Not only is Amsterdam a bar though, it´s also a bed and breakfast. The rooms are large and comfortable, all with TV and bathroom. In addition they also offer city apartments and vacation flats.

This new gay and lesbian pension and shop couldn´t be in a more perfect location; just steps away from the metro station and right in the center of the Prenzlauer Berg scene. Although located on heavily trafficked Schönhauserallee, all of the rooms are quietly tucked away into the back courtyards. They´re spacious and immaculate, all including shower, W.C., TV and video. The shop is well stocked with postcards, artwork, jewelry, rainbow accessories, books and posters; and they sell and rent DVD´s and videos.
