There are more than 200 galleries and exhibition spaces in Berlin
with a constantly changing repertoire. Unfortunately the good old
English language Berlin Artery Galley Guide has gone out of business,
but there are some German language guide booklets and flyers that
you can pick up at most any gallery in Berlin, if not directly at
your hotel.
Otherwise to prepare your gallery hopping strategy prior to arriving,
visit

For the quirkier or spontaneous 'off scene' (alternative) events that
are often only publicised by word of mouth the best bet is to go to
a bar, club or alternative gallery that you like the look of and peruse
the flyers which lie scattered in piles usually near the bar or by
the toilets!
