For less active travellers or those who really do only have a few hours
in Berlin, there are plenty of bus tour operators, most of them leaving
from the Kudamm area and lots of them offering English language commentary.
Below is a selected listing. Departure times and prices are subject to
change, so to be safe grab a brochure from the tourist office or call
in advance.
Bus 100
The 100 bus is a regular BVG public transport bus which runs from
from West (Zoologischer Garten) to East (Prenzlauer Berg /Michelangelostrasse)
and back, passing many landmarks such as the Europa Center, The Reichstag,
the Brandenburg Gate, the TV Tower and other sights along the way.
If you're lucky, a friendly bus driver will point out the sights to
travellers. The bus ride costs DM3.90, the amount of a regular public
transport ticket and runs every five to ten minutes. Seats at the
front of the upper level of Berlin´s double-decker busses are
the best for sightseeing.

This company has been around for a while and they offer a range of
tours in and around Berlin. Hop in a bus with wrap-around glass windows,
pop on your earphones, pick a language, and off you go - hopefully
everything will be in sync and your tape won't be expounding on the
Neo-Baroque beauty of the Berlin Cathedral at the Television Tower.
These are "hop on hop off tours", meaning the busses depart every
half hour during the day. Tourists can get off and on at any or all
of 12 stops, take their snaps, visit sights at their own pace and
get back on a bus later in the day. Check out the Berolina´s
websight for more details of the tours on offer.
